Geology Department
The Department of Geology was founded in 2011 by offering an undergraduate program. This department aims to train committed researchers and specialists needed in Geology and related fields. It is expected that graduates can help the scientific development, economic independence and domination of natural resources of the country. The Department of Geology also offers Masters’ and Ph.D. programs. In the Master's Program students can study in the areas of specialization offered in Stratigraphy and Paleontology, Sedimentology, Economic Geology and Engineering Geology, Tectonic, Hydrogeology, Geology, Petrology and Environmental Geology. The sub-disciplines of the Department of Geography in the Ph.D. program are Stratigraphy and Paleontology, Sedimentology, Economic Geology, Engineering Geology and Tectonic. More
